Hello December

November, I needed you. October was so fast paced and I felt like I didn’t get a minute to myself, but my dairy calmed down in November and I have just been able to relax. I have had a fair bit on at college but overall it has been lovely to chill out and not have something on every day. The calm before the December and blogmas storm.

This month I was invited to experience the new Christmas ranges at The body shop. I have already written a blog post about the evening but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I would defiantly recommend checking out the new play for peace collection. The whole evening was really nice as I went with my best friend Emily and we went out for dinner beforehand, and made a bit of an evening out of it. I love taking my ‘real life’ friends to blog events so they can experience it and have a bit of an insight into what I do.

The same weekend we had some family friends come to stay. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that there are a group of us that see each other around twice a year, and I always have such a good time when they come. A weekend of good food, drinks and plenty of laughs… just what I needed! It’s so nice just to take a weekend off sometimes and just relax with friends.

A blog post is coming all about this evening (I have been so busy that I haven’t had chance to upload it yet!) but I also attended the first birthday of The Botanist York this month. Such an amazing night filled with all of my favourite things… cocktails, good food and fantastic company. So many amazing bloggers were there and I also got to take my boyfriend so it was especially nice. Probably one of the best events that I have ever been to!

The last week of November was spent with my head down doing trial exams. I’m sure that most of you know this, but I am currently doing my A levels so a couple of times a year we have mock papers to test our knowledge. They aren’t the biggest the deal in the grand scheme of things but in the short term they are pretty stressful. That’s partly a reason why this post is so short, because I have spent the majority of November revising! Hopefully they all go successfully and I get my target grades, although my last exam is currently happening when this is scheduled, so I have no idea!

I’m so sorry for how short this post is but I’m sure you are going to get incredibly sick of me over the next month anyway considering I am posting everyday in December. As always thank you so much for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoy what I post ❤
