CaseApp #ad

I only got a new phone a few months ago, and since then I have had the same clear protective case on it, which serves a purpose but is not pretty in the slightest. I haven’t got round to buying a new one and I always forget about it because I never see the back of my phone, but forget that everyone else can see a grubby rubber case. Thats why I was so excited when I was approached by the lovely team at caseapp.co.uk and was asked to collaborate with them on an exciting blog post and giveaway (but stay tuned for that!).

Their website is amazing and there are SO MANY phone case and laptop skin designs for sale, like seriously it took me so long to choose which ones I wanted. You can make your own (using your favourite photos) or use a premade design, often by an actual artist which I think is so cool! I also liked that they have so many choices for devices, you can get a custom product for laptops, phones and tablets too, so definitely worth checking them out.

They ship internationally from Sweden, which is pretty amazing as it means the no matter where you are in the world you can treat yourself from the website. One thing to note if you are from the UK (like most of you reading are) is that it does take a while to receive your products after ordering, probably due to the International shipping. From ordering to receiving, it took about 10 days so bear that in mind if you are purchasing something for a gift.

When it arrived, it came in a slimline packaging that could fit through the letterbox, which was good. I particularly like the stamp that was on the packaging, it was quite a personal touch and gave the business more of an independent special feel. The two cases came in the same packaging, and in the box there was also a little thank you note, with some extra details about the brand and their social media.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the phone cases were their quality. I liked that they were thin enough to not add weight and bulk onto the phone, but equally were thick enough to not break and snap easily. I’m not silly and I do know that these cases are more of a fashion item than something that actually protects your phone, but caseapp do protective cases as well if this is something you are more interested in. I chose the glossy finish but I think its just personal preference, I prefer the feeling of glossy phone cases to matte. However, I would recommend looking at the matte ones if you are getting a personalised photo, as it would show up better and wouldn’t reflect in the light like a glossy one would.

The first case I ordered was the pale pink polka dot one from the artist Elina Dahl. She was the artist I was originally drawn to and I loved her style, so it took ages to choose which one I wanted. The pink is actually very pale in comparison to the photo (more like an off white) but I really like that as its more vibrant for summer. The mixed up dots are right up my street and I love the style, perfect for everyday on the back of my phone as it looks pretty but isn’t too ‘out there’ if that makes any sense.

The next one is a banana leaf print case from the artist Amy Marietta and it’s definitely my favourite out of the two. This print is very in fashion at the moment and is seen a lot in home decor, and I love the style of it. I thought a phone case would look so cool in this pattern as it is more bold and again would look amazing in the summer. I can’t wait to have this on my phone when I go on my holiday in July, photos of this on the beach would look so tropical and pretty! Amy Marietta also had a flamingo case that I had my eye on, and I will definitely pick that up when I need a new case!
