I haven’t done one of these in ages (click here for the last one), but over the past month a lot of brands have very kindly sent me over some of their products to try. Blogger Mail is a lovely perk to the blogging job, but it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed and is very appreciated. I don’t do this for every single product I get sent, but I like showcasing some of the brands that particularly support me, or I really love their products. Basically my top picks!
Disclaimer- Due to the new ASA guidelines, there now has to be [AD] in the title. However, this is technically not an AD. All of the blogger mail featured has kindly been sent to me complimentary to try, but I am under no obligation to say anything and I have certainly not been paid to share a positive review. Just a heads up!
Pixi certainly know how to treat a girl, and they have done a fab job at treating me (and many other bloggers) around once a month to their blogger mail. The thing I love most about Pixi is the fact that you never know when one is coming, and then all of a sudden a beautiful package rocks up at your door. Its like Christmas! Recently I have received some fab items, but my favourites have to include the giant personalised bottle of the pixi glow tonic (one of my favourite skincare products EVER and now it has my name on) and their new eyeshadow palettes. The eyeshadow palettes came in such a pretty gift box, and since trying them I can report back that the formula is so good too. The only thing I would say is that all of the shades are shimmery, so not great to travel with because there are no mattes, but the shimmers are so beautiful that it has become a staple in my drawer anyway. I love it!
Alex silver PR have become a firm supporter of my blog this year, and as well as sending me to incredibly swanky events (click here for the best event I have been to), they are also kind enough to send me over blogger mail on a regular basis. They work with a lot of brands, so I get to try a lot of different beauty products which I love. My favourite recently have been:
- Leighton Denny nail polish- the lovely team emailed me asking my favourite colour, and after saying pink (I know I know its not indigo, shock horror) the day after this rocked up at my door. I thought that this was so kind and it is genuinely a fab nail polish. I have acrylics on my fingers so it hasn’t featured there but it has been a firm favourite on my toes since I bought it.
- Novell tanning mist- I am yet to try this on my face (as my face is very sensitive to breakouts and I don’t want to risk this) but I have bene using this on my neck and shoulders when my fake tan is on day 3-4 and needs more of a boost. I love the shade, its not too orange at all and instead is a really nice natural colour. The only thing I would say is that I use it quite excessively and its a very small bottle, so I think I’m going to use it up really quickly!
The highland boutique are a relatively new brand ran by one of my followers, but they are so amazing and, after they very kindly sent me over some of their products to try, I have been loving their products recently. They sell a lot of jewellery but the stand out products for me have to be their earrings. I love the tassle earrings and have been wearing the Victoria pair religiously on my nights out for the past couple of weeks. I cannot wait to take the white ones on holiday in July as I think they will look so nice with a tan. I also love their hope earrings with the little heart on, as if you know me you will know how much of a big fan of hoops I am, but these have a nice little twist which I love. I love supporting and showcasing small businesses on my blog, and this was certainly one of my favourite blogger mail packages I have had in ages! Click here to be redirected to her site.
I hope you have enjoyed looking into some of the things that land in my letterbox over the past few weeks, I have loved sharing some of the products I love and most importantly showcasing some amazing brands. I am so grateful for every press sample I receive, I know how much of a treat this is and I am so lucky to receive blogger mail to review for my audience… it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed! Thank you for reading this and if you want to see more of these posts let me know, I will be happy to do more now the blogging world is picking up again (its always so dull between January and April!).
