I haven’t done one of these posts in ages but I absolutely love them, so I’m glad that I am able to post one today with all of my outfit pictures from my birthday celebrations. My birthday was a few weeks ago now, but I’ve finally got round to writing everything down and sharing my outfits… I love them. I always forget how much I love posting fashion content until I actually start creating it again, it is one of my favourites to post.
If you know me, you know just how much my birthday celebrations mean to me (I love to be ‘extra’ and celebrate everything) so I am so happy with all of the outfits that I have worn recently. This post was actually supposed to be 5 outfits but I forgot to take any photos on my actual birthday- I was having too much fun enjoying my birthday celebrations with my family!
Also: remember that if you do want to purchase anything that I am wearing in this post, buying it through my link often helps me out. It is at no cost to you, but every sale will give me a small commission. Just another way that you can help me and Indigo Rosee to keep going and keep making content!
Outfit 1- The marquee Party
This was the start of my birthday celebrations, and it was such a fun day. The theme of the party decorations were bright colours and tropical themed, so I thought to match that in my outfit. This leaf print jumpsuit is from Primark, and the belt that goes with it is also from Primark. It is a fake Gucci one but hopefully I am going to to treat myself to the real one before the end of the year, as I love it. I also paired this outfit with a pair of simple brown sandals* from New look, which I think are going to become a summer staple.
I loved this outfit, although by about 9pm I had a hoodie on over the top because it was so cold outside during the garden party!
Outfit 2- Newcastle
For my birthday, me and my boyfriend went to Newcastle for the night, so I thought to share my outfit that I wore on the evening for even more birthday celebrations. I love this outfit and it feels so ‘me’, although I know that this time a year ago it wouldn’t have been my style at all- my fashion tastes and confidence have definitely changed this year.
The black trousers* are from boohoo and I wear them so often on nights out, as they are a lot thicker than leggings but so much comfier than jeans or cigarette trousers. They are so handy to have in your wardrobe. I paired this with a green wrap top from Quiz, which is actually fairly new to my wardrobe but I love it. It flatters my figure so much! As far as heels go, this black pair from new look* are the only ones that I wear now… as I am awful at walking in heels. However, the ones I have linked are not identical to mine but pretty close because I have had mine a long time.
I love this outfit and it is definitely a classic outfit for a nice date night, or in this case my birthday celebrations.
Outfit 3- Leeds Day 1
This was the outfit that I travelled to Leeds in for the start of my birthday night out, but I actually really liked these outfit photos that I took whilst visiting the White to Brown pop up shop so I thought to share them! If you have seen my outfit photos before you will know that I am a skirt/dress and tights girl rather than a jeans girl, but I love these. They are from Topshop*, and they are super comfy and perfect for summer. I paired it with this leopard print belt from river island, and a grey t-shirt (which I cannot link because it is honestly years old!!). My sunglasses were a Christmas present to myself from Prada- super expensive but I absolutely love them.
Jeans and a t-shirt might not seem like an adventurous outfit but for me it is actually quite far out of my comfort zone, but I am learning to love it. Especially in the summer!
Outfit 4- Leeds Birthday Night Out
This was my birthday night out and birthday celebrations with both my home and uni friends, so I knew I wanted to look nice but I had no idea what to wear. I was looking through the Internet trying to find something new, but instead I opted for something already in my wardrobe as I have only worn it twice! Unfortunately it does mean that I cannot link it for you guys to check out, which I apologise for.
This is a fab two piece from Miss Pap, and it fits so well so I would definitely recommend having a look over on their site if you are looking for a reasonably priced two piece. I love that this is black (so definitely in my comfort zone) but still has the colour on the straps and skirt band… I think it looks a lot more expensive that what it was!
I paired this with my nike trainers* because realistically is it a uni night out without a pair of trainers involved? I love these trainers as they are all black so go with any outfit, but are also so comfy and perfect for all of the dancing that I always do!
I hope you liked looking at all of my birthday celebrations outfits- let me know which outfit is your favourite! I am thinking of posting another outfit diary post soon featuring some outfits from my holiday, so let me know if that is something that you are interested in seeing. As always thank you so much for reading this and supporting my blog recently!
